Bree Kelly is a free-spirit writer, director, and producer in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from California, Bree began writing when she was a child. Her mother gave her a pink diary in which she kept all her thoughts. She would write short stories and adaptations of films and she even put on plays for her family. During high school, Bree would write poems about lost love or experiences she would hear from friends. In college, she met terrific mentors who cultivated her craft and worked alongside Monty Ross, co-producer of Spike Lee's She's Gotta Have It, Do the Right Thing, and Malcolm X.
After college she wrote, directed, and shot a poetry short film called, "The Cycle.” Two years later Bree wrote and directed her first feature film entitled, "Out With the Old," about the complications of dating. Bree has worked on a few indie projects including writing poetry for, "Fate" directed by Tiara West, and produced an unreleased web series called, "After College" directed by Gippetto. She is currently a co-author of a coming-of-age book, "Through the Waters."
